Vuyk Engineering Rotterdam is an internationally operating engineering company serving the maritime industry. Vuyk provides consultancy and engineering services in the areas of ship design, equipment design, marine operations and building supervision.

We are specialized in work vessels for the dredging and offshore industries and heavy lift shipping. Aside from designing new vessels and conversions, both in the concept phase as well as in the basic design phase, we can offer consultancy and engineering services for the design and preparation of marine operations such as the transport, positioning and lifting of heavy cargo or special cargo such as wind turbines, drilling rigs, etc. Regularly required engineering in this field is the determination of sea keeping behaviour and motion/wave induced loads, the design of sea fastening, structural design and the determination of the workability based on wind and wave statistics.
